Máté Vinglman is a business-focused lawyer specializing in the areas of capital markets and banking and financial services. He advised a wide array of publicly traded and private companies on their capital market transactions including public takeovers, corporate bond offerings, and initial public offerings.
Additionally, he regularly advises commercial banks in a variety of finance transactions regarding syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financing, repo transactions, cross border NPL portfolio transfer, and factoring.
He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where gained experience in the field of taxation issues of cross-border revenues in the international mobility group. In 2017, he joined to the banking and finance group of Baker & McKenzie Budapest, mainly on financing and capital market regulatory engagements. For three years Máté was a leading member of HBK Partner’s banking & finance and capital markets practice group.
Máté graduated from ELTE (Budapest), Faculty of Law and he was admitted to the Budapest Bar in March 2020.
